As the P&C Onboarding and Systems Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering a seamless, high‑quality onboarding journey for new starters across the business. You’ll take ownership of HR systems (particularly HiBob), ensure data accuracy and compliance, and provide valuable insights through people data and reporting. This 12‑month fixed‑term contract is ideal for someone with systems experience who enjoys working with data, improving processes, and making a real impact behind the scenes.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the onboarding experience – manage end‑to‑end onboarding for all new starters, ensuring a smooth and engaging journey from offer to induction.
  • Drive system excellence – maintain and enhance HiBob workflows, automations, and templates to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Be the go‑to support – provide responsive support to employees and managers on HR systems and onboarding queries.
  • Ensure compliance & accuracy – manage employee records, pre‑employment checks, and audit readiness with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Unlock the power of data – produce reports, analyse trends, and provide insights to support better decision‑making.
  • Collaborate across teams – work closely with hiring managers, IT, and Learning teams to ensure a joined‑up onboarding and employee experience.
  • Continuously improve – identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance systems through automation and best practice.

What You’ll Have

  • 1–2 years’ experience in HR administration, people operations, or HR systems.
  • Strong systems experience (HiBob highly desirable) with confidence navigating HRIS platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and spot trends or risks.
  • High attention to detail with a passion for accuracy and data integrity.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident Excel or Google Sheets skills (intermediate level).
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive, service‑focused approach.
  • A curious, tech‑savvy mindset with a drive to improve processes.
  • Good Microsoft Office knowledge.

  • Experience in a healthcare or regulated environment.
