The Role

  • As an Exercise Clinic Physiotherapist, you'll play a key role in delivering our Exercise Medicine service, helping people living with, and beyond cancer, improve their physical function, confidence and quality of life through tailored exercise and rehabilitation programmes.
  • Working closely with the Exercise Clinic Lead Physiotherapist and Exercise Oncology Specialist, you'll undertake comprehensive patient assessments, develop personalised exercise prescriptions, and support patients throughout their treatment and recovery journey.
  • You will also contribute to the outpatient physiotherapy service, providing assessment and treatment for musculoskeletal complications of cancer treatment, including scar management, soft tissue therapy and bespoke rehabilitation programmes.

What You'll Do

  • Undertake comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for patients living with and beyond cancer.
  • Develop and deliver personalised exercise and rehabilitation programmes.
  • Assess and treat patients experiencing musculoskeletal complications of cancer treatment, including scar management, soft tissue therapy and personalised rehabilitation interventions.
  • Support patients attending both in‑person and virtual exercise clinics.
  • Work collaboratively with consultants, physiotherapists, wellbeing specialists and wider clinical teams.
  • Contribute to service development, quality improvement projects and patient experience initiatives.
  • Support and supervise the Exercise Oncology Specialist within the clinic.
  • Help promote Exercise Medicine through engagement events and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in line with HCPC standards and GenesisCare policies.

What You'll Have

  • BSc or MSc Degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Current HCPC registration.
