As one of four Senior SACT Nurses, you’ll be part of a specialist team delivering systemic anti‑cancer therapies, while helping to build and shape a brand‑new service.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver safe, high‑quality SACT treatments
- Manage a patient caseload and run nurse‑led clinics
- Provide expert advice and support to patients and families
- Support clinical governance, audits and service improvement
- Participate in on‑call and triage services
- Mentor and support junior staff and students
- Contribute to research and evidence‑based practice
- Co‑ordinate SACT Unit shifts
- Participate in Quality Improvement projects
What You’ll Bring
- NMC registration
- Experience in oncology and chemotherapy delivery
- Competency in venepuncture and cannulation
- Strong clinical decision‑making and patient care skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Holds a SACT passport and has a minimum of 2 years SACT experience.
