This is an exciting opportunity to join GenesisCare UK as we launch a new Leeds centre, delivering cutting‑edge diagnostics including PET‑CT and Theranostics. You’ll play a critical role in establishing and leading a highly specialised imaging service, combining innovation, leadership, and patient‑centred care.
As Lead PET‑CT Radiographer, you will lead diagnostic imaging services across PET‑CT, diagnostic CT, SPECT‑CT and Theranostics, while also supporting general imaging including X‑ray and C‑arm. You’ll be responsible for clinical excellence, operational performance and service development.
What You’ll Do
- Lead PET‑CT, CT, SPECT‑CT and Theranostics services within the centre
- Deliver advanced imaging and support complex diagnostic pathways
- Lead service development, protocols and innovation
- Manage staff, workflow and operational performance
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety and governance standards
- Provide training, mentorship and competency development
- Support general imaging including X‑ray and C‑arm as part of the service
Off‑site placements: A minimum of 1 month at established GenesisCare centres, gaining hands‑on experience with PET‑CT, diagnostic CT, SPECT‑CT and Theranostic services. Placements are delivered in structured blocks and require weekday residence near the host centre. Travel expectations: Regular national travel and overnight stays during the onboarding period are an essential requirement. This training forms a core contractual part of the role and requires flexibility to travel and stay away from home during the onboarding period.
What You’ll Bring
- HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer
- Strong experience in PET‑CT and diagnostic CT
- Experience with SPECT‑CT and/or Theranostics (desirable)
- Experience in general X‑ray and C‑arm imaging
- Leadership or senior‑level experience
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and governance
