As a Senior Therapy Radiographer with us, you'll play a pivotal role in rotating across multiple treatment platforms & modalities within the centre as the need arises to support the overall radiotherapy service. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact and develop your career.

What You'll Do:

  • Work as part of an integrated radiotherapy team and drive operational, technical, and clinical excellence in the utilisation of all platforms within your centre, ensuring that all operational objectives and standards are achieved.
  • Support the clinical and non‑clinical team in aspects of radiotherapy operations, supporting safe, high quality and efficient patient management on all treatment platforms.
  • Assist the Lead Therapy Radiographer with the development of protocols, areas of technical and clinical research and implementation of clinical trials across multiple radiotherapy platforms.
  • Experience within all aspects of radiotherapy: quality assurance, pre‑treatment simulation, on‑set imaging, dosimetry review and treatment delivery.
  • Demonstrate collaborative teamwork.
  • Show empathy and a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Understand governance requirements.
  • Exhibit effective organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Build strong relationships.
  • Solve problems efficiently.
  • Work flexibly to achieve the business objectives of GenesisCare.
  • Either currently hold or be willing to undertake cannulation training & accreditation to support the clinical service.

Desirable: experience in evolving novel radiation therapy imaging and dose delivery techniques.

Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • DCR (DR) or BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography.
  • Significant postgraduate studies or clinical experience.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
