National role | Regular UK travel required | Particular focus on Oxford, Windsor & Guildford Are you an experienced Diagnostic Radiographer looking for a role with variety, autonomy and the opportunity to make an impact across multiple services?

Join Genesis Care UK as our Senior Regional Diagnostic Radiographer and play a key role in supporting the delivery and development of high-quality diagnostic imaging services across our UK network.

This is a genuinely national, hands-on clinical role, supporting our centres wherever your expertise is needed.

While you will work across the wider Genesis Care network, Oxford, Windsor and Guildford are key locations for this position and regular travel to these centres will be an essential part of the role.

If you enjoy working across different clinical environments, building strong relationships and using your expertise to support teams and improve services, this could be an exciting next step.

As Senior Regional Diagnostic Radiographer, you'll work closely with our Principal Radiographer, Lead Radiographers and centre teams to support safe, effective and consistently high-quality diagnostic services across Genesis Care UK.

You'll combine active clinical practice with regional and national service support, stepping into centres where required to provide hands‑on expertise, strengthen service delivery and help maintain the highest standards of patient care, governance and regulatory compliance.

We are looking for someone with experience in PET‑CT, CT and/or MRI.

You don't necessarily need to be fully competent across every modality from day one.

We are happy to support further development and training in an additional modality - for example, developing PET‑CT capability for an experienced MRI Radiographer, or vice versa.

Travel is a core requirement of this position, rather than an occasional part of the role.

You must be comfortable travelling regularly between Genesis Care centres, particularly Oxford, Windsor and Guildford, and working clinically from different locations according to service need.

You will therefore need a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with typical clinical hours between 8am and 5pm.

Flexibility may occasionally be required to support services outside these hours.

What You'll Do

  • Provide hands‑on clinical and operational support to diagnostic services across the Genesis Care UK network.
  • Regularly travel between centres, with a particular focus on supporting Oxford, Windsor and Guildford.
  • Work clinically across PET‑CT, CT and/or MRI services according to your competencies and service requirements.
  • Support Lead Radiographers, the Principal Radiographer and wider diagnostic leadership team in delivering consistent standards across centres.
  • Lead by example, remaining actively involved in the patient pathway and delivery of exceptional patient care.
  • Build strong relationships with Radiographers, Centre Managers, clinicians, Clinical Trials teams and other multidisciplinary colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with HCPC standards, Genesis Care clinical protocols, radiation protection requirements, quality assurance and medicines governance.
  • Support the safe and effective use of diagnostic equipment and systems.
  • Contribute to clinical audits, incident and complaints processes, risk management and continuous service improvement.
  • Support the ongoing development and growth of MRI, cross-sectional and wider diagnostic imaging services.
  • Participate in national audit programmes and research trials where required.
  • Maintain your professional development and GCP training where applicable.
  • Work flexibly across the network to provide support where it is most needed.
DCR (R), BSc (Hons) in Radiography or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Current HCPC registration and evidence of ongoing CPD.
  • At least 3 years' post-qualification experience, demonstrating progressive professional development.
  • Clinical experience within PET‑CT, CT and/or MRI.
  • A strong understanding of clinical governance, radiation protection and relevant health and safety legislation.
  • A patient‑centred approach and commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
  • Strong clinical judgement and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
  • The confidence and adaptability to work effectively across different centres, teams and clinical environments.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to support colleagues while maintaining high professional standards.
  • The flexibility and willingness to travel regularly across the UK as an integral part of your working week.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
