The Role
As Clinical Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day delivery and ongoing development of our clinical services. You’ll provide direct leadership across multiple departments, with a focus on operational excellence, regulatory compliance, workforce capability, and optimised skill mix. You'll foster an integrated, multidisciplinary approach that ensures high-quality care is consistently delivered. Working closely with the Centre Leader, you’ll support the development and implementation of our strategic and financial objectives—helping to shape the future direction of the centre. You will also be an active member of the Oxford Leadership Team, supporting department leads through data-driven decision making and impactful team meetings. Your role will include overseeing service improvement plans, leading incident reviews and shared learning initiatives, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. From ensuring annual competency signoffs to supporting individual development plans, you’ll have the chance to make a genuine difference—both to patient outcomes and to the careers of your colleagues.
What You’ll Do
- Provide exceptional leadership in living the GenesisCare purpose and values, developing and enhancing a culture within the centre that aligns with our values.
- Support the Centre Leader with the quality and operations strategy as we strive to continually raise the bar and achieve an outstanding CQC rating.
- Support and lead the management and delivery of clinical and non-clinical oversight & governance of the services under your line management and ensure the efficient delivery of their services.
- Actively drive and support a culture of continuous improvement from incidents, near misses, complaints, compliments and patient feedback.
- Support and lead aspects of the cross site working and integration plan for services mainly administration, nursing and imaging referral pathways.
What You’ll Have
- Experience of leading and/or managing clinical services.
- Experience of working in the Private healthcare industry.
- Experience/awareness of clinical professional standards.
- Robust understanding of Clinical Governance requirements for the area.
- Up-to-date knowledge in area of practice.
- Awareness of professional Codes of Conduct and accountability.
- Knowledge of the Care Quality Commission principal pillars and evidence.
- Experience of disseminating learnings from incidents, complaints and compliments to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
- Experience of developing quality improvement plans and embedding continuous improvement into the operational management process.
- Experience and use of quality management systems.
- Experience of the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and procedures.
- Experience of working collaboratively with and influencing others.
