Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Tax Analyst – Hybrid for a direct hire opportunity with a Global Manufacturing Company located in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; La Porte, IN; Hampton, VA; or Whitehall, MI. Pay range: $75,000 - $95,000 per year. This position will join a corporate tax department and focus primarily on federal tax compliance, with assistance in state and international tax compliance. The successful candidate will be involved in preparing tax forms, handling related tax accounting, and taking on special assignments as directed by tax management.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the accurate and timely preparation of the consolidated US income tax return
- Review tax packages and coordinate data flows into the tax returns
- Assist with calculations of quarterly taxable income for cash tax payments and tax entries
- Participate in analyzing tax and financial information for decision making
- Assist with federal tax accounting
- Maintain compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and other regulations
- Handle various special tax assignments, including analysis of internal restructurings, M&A activities, gain/loss calculations, and basis studies
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in federal tax return preparation/review
- Experience in accounting for income taxes
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field from an accredited institution
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position
