Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Richmond, VA and Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities

  • Project coordination responsibilities relating to technology implementations, upgrades, conversion, and recovery using the Enterprise Change tools and guidelines.
  • Manage/Coordinate resources within and across various lines of business and has matrix management responsibility.
  • Balance soft skills, technical requirements, scheduling, milestone delivery of the technical solution.
  • Define and evaluate problems and plans effective solutions.
  • Understand stakeholder's expectations and objectives.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with management, team members and stakeholders.
  • Work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative manner.
  • Maintain system of records related to inventory detail updates.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of Cisco voice technologies.
  • Adaptive learning capability to utilize new systems and/or processes.
  • Audio Visual / Telepresence Technology experience.
  • Microsoft Productivity Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook).
  • Able to identify possible issues before they become an issue and successfully mitigate to keep the project (and personnel) on schedule.
  • Able to succinctly present progress as well as issues and be able to provide possible solutions as well as take constructive criticism and not let it affect you.
  • Able to identify changing priorities within the project and move resources to continue the most effective use of the resources as many times you are competing for their time with other concurrent projects.

Pay range: $52.10 - $60.10
