Job Summary
Packing Team
Join our fast-moving Packing Team, where youll carefully pack and present products for top global brands and our own popular Genesis range. If youve got quick hands, sharp eyes, and a knack for detail, this is the role for you
Machine Operators
Be part of the action behind the scenessetting up machines, loading ingredients, and keeping production running smoothly. Youll need confidence with equipment, a keen eye for quality, and the drive to keep things moving in a busy environment
Day To Day Activities: –
- Use of flow wrapper within the packing department
- Setting up machines within the packing department to get production up and running.
- Working within a high-volume production line
- Working with horizontal flow wrapper
- Follow safe operating procedures in an efficient and effective manner at all times.
- Setup and operate machines.
- Run machines at optimum levels and efficient speeds.
- Understand the requirements of specifications.
- Trouble shoots stoppages and breakdowns.
- Perform quality checks of material being produced and related documentation.
- Complete daily production work.
- Maintains the bagging equipment to achieve optimum efficiency.
- Achieves maximum production while maintaining quality and completeness of the material produced.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
Essential
Self-motivated, can work independently without supervision and within a team setting.
Experience working in packing in a manufacturing environment
Desirable
Basic Food Hygiene
Basic Health & Safety
Shift Pattern
: 5 days per week (Mon – Fri) Day shift starting at 7am/8am
Pay
£12.50-£13.50 per hour
