Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join us as EasyPlant Operator. In this role, you will receive comprehensive training on EasyPlant, Technip Energies’ proprietary plant design and modelling software. You will support the project team in developing, reviewing, and managing 3D plant models and related documentation, contributing to the successful delivery of the Net Zero Teesside Power project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in training sessions to develop proficiency in EasyPlant software.
- Assist in creating, updating, and reviewing 3D plant models and layouts using EasyPlant.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure models meet project specifications and standards.
- Support the generation of isometric drawings, P&ID updates, and material take-offs.
- Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout modelling activities.
- Continuously develop technical skills and knowledge related to plant design and modelling.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (graduated within the last 2 years).
- Strong interest in plant design, 3D modelling, and process engineering.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic understanding of plant layout, piping, and equipment design is advantageous.
- Eagerness to learn new software tools and technical processes.
