Job Summary
Management Accountant Industry: Food Manufacturing. Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking to take the next step in your career? Do you thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and enjoy partnering with operational teams to drive performance? We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Management Accountant to join our finance team within a busy food manufacturing site employing around 250 staff. This is a key position within the Finance Department, making it an excellent development role for someone aiming to progress.
What You'll Be Doing
- Producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and KPI reporting
- Supporting the annual budgeting process, periodic reforecasts and financial modelling
- Creating timely, accurate and insightful financial reports to support business decision-making
- Working closely with senior management across Production, Technical, Supply Chain and HR
- Analysing cost drivers, product margins, stock variances and operational performance
- Ensuring financial controls, reconciliations and compliance are maintained to a high standard
What We're Looking For
- Part‑qualified or fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) OR proven equivalent experience
- Strong experience producing monthly management accounts in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Confident in budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to explain financial information to non‑finance colleagues
- Strong time‑management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
