Job Overview

We are looking for a junior Document Controller to support a major CCUS project. The role is a ~2‑year contract, part‑time (approximately 20 hours per week) and can be performed remotely. It is Inside IR35, with potential to become a full‑time position in the future.

Responsibilities

• Operate project EDMS systems.
• Follow procedures and workflows.
• Perform conformity checks for document correctness (number, title, sign‑off).
• Provide Document Control support & troubleshoot for Engineering teams.
• Build and notify transmittals.
• Monitor processes.
• Liason with Engineers, Project Management & Clients.
• Assist with status/progress measurement & tracking.
• Work to tight deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Wide ranging knowledge of Document Control in the engineering sector.
• Background in Document Control on projects within engineering or energy industries.
• Excellent organisational skills and experience with EDMS tools.
• Solid understanding of company organisation and flow structure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong working knowledge of EDMS systems.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent IT skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible, proactive and highly organised.
