We are seeking an experienced CAD Designer, ideally with experience in also using GIS software, to focus on subsea and pipeline projects. This role will report into the Subsea Study Manager.

Job Purpose: To contribute towards subsea project drawing deliverables, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards. There is also an opportunity for the candidate to develop towards a CAD team lead role.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Develop Autodesk CAD, Inventor models for subsea structures and pipelines.
  • Produce associated project drawing deliverables to company standards.
  • Proactiveness in discussing any issues arising from the drawing development with discipline engineer/project manager.

Typical background and experience required:

Minimum Experience: Proficient with Autodesk Inventor, Vault. Expertise in the creation of subsea structures and pipelines drawing deliverables.

Advantageous Experience:

  • Strong experience in the oil and gas and/or Energy Transition sectors preferable.
  • Experience with geographic information system (GIS) software beneficial.
  • Previous CAD team lead role job history.
  • Experience in manifold design preferred.
