The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.
This role will primarily undertake reliability engineering activities under the direction/supervision of a Lead RAM Engineer / RAM Team Leader for conceptual engineering and feasibility studies for the Oil & Gas and Energy Transition industries. You will also have the opportunity to support Technical Safety & Risk and Functional Safety scopes when required under the direction of a Lead Technical Safety Engineer.
Responsibilities include:
- Execution of RAM studies using reliability techniques and modelling tools for complex systems
- Technical report writing
- Preparation and delivery of technical presentations either internal or external
- Assistance with preparation of RAM marketing material and business development
- Assistance with preparation of RAM proposals
We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
- Proven RAM and/or Technical Safety experience, ideally in the oil and gas and energy industries. We will also consider engineers that have completed a graduate programme and are keen to specialise in this discipline.
- Relevant Engineering Degree
- Good knowledge of Reliability concepts and techniques, e.g. Fault Tree, Reliability Block Diagrams and FMEA/FMEA
- A key desire to grow your experience within conceptual studies for the energy industry
Advantageous Experience:
- Certified Functional Safety Engineer
- Experience of using DNV GL MAROS and/or TARO is desirable
- Experience of refinery or chemicals industries
- Experience in data manipulation and Python language desirable
- Post graduate qualifications in a reliability related subject
- Basic understanding of Technical Safety & Risk Studies
