About the Roles
We are currently seeking skilled MW Riggers to join us on a contract for services basis.
Key Responsibilities:
· The role of the Microwave Rigger is to carryout complete installation of Microwave Radio equipment.
· Follow the documentation associated with each link, ensuring that all work is completed on time and quality.
·Experience working with Ericsson and SIAE MW would be preferred.
· Ensure that all relevant information is contained within the work pack, to enable job to be completed successfully.
· Check equipment prior to delivery to ensure correct radio configuration, antenna size etc.
· Installation of Microwave Antennas and Out Door Units.
· Installation and laying RF cables and Earthing.
· Installation of Indoor Equipment.
· Panning of System & testing.
· Labelling.
· Taking relevant photographs for documentation purposes.
· Complete of all site related paperwork.
· Ensure that all health and safety requirements are met.
· Follow all site specific and relevant risk assessment and method statements.
Operational Experience (Essential):
· At least 2 years experience on Microwave Rigging.
· Experience with Microwave equipment installations of various OEMs.
· Working at heights (rooftops, masts, water towers etc).
· Working knowledge of Microwave Transmission networks.
Certifications (desired or required):
· Rooftop training
· Safe climbing
· First Aid
· RF awareness
· Tower Rescue
· HNC or equivalent.
· Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
· Full UK Driving Licence.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Information:
· Should have own Toolkit, PPE, Laptop and RF Monitor if possible which are required for the job
