Telecoms Installation Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Telecoms Installation Engineer to join our growing team. This role involves the installation of switch-based equipment and associated infrastructure in customer premises. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cabling, racks, and cabinets, along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install Power, Ethernet, and Fibre cabling in customer premises
- Install cabinets and racks in line with technical requirements
- Work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality installations
- Assist with troubleshooting and rectification of issues
- Ensure all installations follow strict guidelines, quality plans, and customer standards
- Complete works safely, efficiently, and in accordance with QHSE processes
- Maintain good housekeeping standards and manage tools and materials effectively
- Provide accurate daily and weekly progress reports
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience working in a switch environment
- RF Safety Awareness certification
- Emergency First Aid at Work certification
- Streetworks Certification
- Asbestos Awareness certification
- Willingness to travel and work away from home when required
- Full UK Driving License
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in the telecommunications industry
