About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Telecoms Installation Engineer to join our growing team. This role involves the installation of switch-based equipment and associated infrastructure in customer premises. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cabling, racks, and cabinets, along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install Power, Ethernet, and Fibre cabling in customer premises
  • Install cabinets and racks in line with technical requirements
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality installations
  • Assist with troubleshooting and rectification of issues
  • Ensure all installations follow strict guidelines, quality plans, and customer standards
  • Complete works safely, efficiently, and in accordance with QHSE processes
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards and manage tools and materials effectively
  • Provide accurate daily and weekly progress reports

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience working in a switch environment
  • RF Safety Awareness certification
  • Emergency First Aid at Work certification
  • Streetworks Certification
  • Asbestos Awareness certification
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home when required
  • Full UK Driving License

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in the telecommunications industry
