We are seeking an experienced Telecoms Installation Engineer to join our growing team. This role involves the installation of switch-based equipment and associated infrastructure in customer premises. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cabling, racks, and cabinets, along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Install Power, Ethernet, and Fibre cabling in customer premises
Install cabinets and racks in line with technical requirements
Work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality installations
Assist with troubleshooting and rectification of issues
Ensure all installations follow strict guidelines, quality plans, and customer standards
Complete works safely, efficiently, and in accordance with QHSE processes
Maintain good housekeeping standards and manage tools and materials effectively
Provide accurate daily and weekly progress reports
Required Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience working in a switch environment
RF Safety Awareness certification
Emergency First Aid at Work certification
Streetworks Certification
Willingness to travel and work away from home when required
Full UK Driving License
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in the telecommunications industry
