Role Description:

To install a variety of switch-based equipment in customer premises.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Working within a team
  • Able to work in isolation
  • Installation of Power/Ethernet/Fibre cabling in customer premises
  • Installation of Cabinets and Racks in customer premises
  • Ensure installation guidelines are strictly adhered to, and quality plan is followed
  • Assist with trouble shooting and rectification
  • Always follow QHSE processes
  • Complete works in a safe and timely manner
  • Complete works according to all Genesis and customer regulations and instructions
  • Ensure good housekeeping
  • Materials and tools management
  • To produce daily and weekly reports

Required Qualification and Experience:

  • Experience working in a switch environment
  • RF Safety Awareness
  • Experience with Nokia Airscale Equipment
  • TEL003 Certification
  • Emergency First Aid at Work
  • Streetwork Certification
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Must be prepared to work away from home as required
  • Full Driving License

Desirable Qualification and Experience:

  • Previous experience working in telecommunications
