The professional in this role must possess and demonstrate a passion for cultivating existing and new client relationships and identifying opportunities to enhance current HEOR and RWE business through strategic consultation in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device sectors.

Accountabilities within this role:

  • Support existing client relationships and assist with the growth of new client relationships.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on health economic and outcomes research (HEOR) and health technology assessment (HTA) engagements.
  • Lead strategic consultations on gaps analysis and supportive evidence strategies, including study design and data source selection.
  • Provide guidance on the development of integrated evidence generation plans.
  • Lead and provide expert input into HEOR FIT engagements.
  • Take responsibility for strategy, design, approach, and delivery informed by a clear understanding of the client's business context, requirements, objectives, and expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with internal colleagues and contribute to the evolution of HEOR strategy, including design, pricing, deployment, adoption, and competitive placement considering industry trends and innovations.
  • Meet company goals by developing and delivering insightful, value-added solutions that address specific needs for clients.
  • Contribute to proposal development and client capabilities presentations and meetings.
  • Mentor and supervise HEOR Strategists.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry and scientific trends; with the ability to understand and articulate a broad range of potential business applications to achieve client goals.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment and uphold the Genesis Research culture.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of consulting experience in RWE/HEOR.
  • Master's or PhD / PharmD degree within a relevant discipline (e.g., public health, health services research, HEOR or epidemiology).
  • Knowledge of HEOR, HTA and RWE research methods, including study design and analysis.
  • Global and US RWE & HEOR experience preferred.
  • Outstanding healthcare/life sciences industry knowledge.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and motivation to take opportunities to develop oneself and others within Genesis Research.
  • Ability to effectively work in a matrix environment and flexibility to adapt to client project needs in a fast-paced entrepreneurial workplace.
