About UsGenesis Projects is a growing mechanical building services contractor delivering projects across commercial, industrial, and retail sectors. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Plumber / Mechanical Installer to join our team.
The RoleWe are seeking a skilled plumber who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Project Manager to ensure works are completed on time, within budget, and in line with project requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation of commercial and industrial plumbing systems. Installation and modification of pipework, sanitary ware, drainage systems, and associated mechanical services. Supporting the Project Manager with the day-to-day delivery of projects. Assisting with planning and coordinating site activities to ensure efficient progression of works. Monitoring progress and highlighting any issues that could impact programme deadlines. Coordinating with subcontractors and other trades on site.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant regulations and company procedures. Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control. Completing site records, reports, and documentation as required. Assisting with material management and ensuring installations are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Requirements
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent). Previous experience within commercial and industrial installations. Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and organisational skills. Full UK Driving Licence. CSCS Card
