Scope of Services
We require the services of a Senior HVAC Engineer (Outside of IR35) to provide independent contract support for facilities assessment and life extension of offshore oil and gas facilities. The scope includes:
- Baseline Condition Assessment: Develop study methodologies, conduct site surveys, and deliver desktop studies to determine the current condition of HVAC systems
- Life Extension Assessment: Develop strategies and deliver desktop studies to assess and optimise HVAC system life extension
- Brownfield Scope Development: Frame and define HVAC brownfield scopes, including optioneering, cost estimation, risk analysis, and constructability assessments, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary study team
- Technical Compliance: Provide expertise to ensure HVAC systems meet industry standards and best practices
- Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose solutions.
Requirements
The ideal service provider will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Formal qualification and/or certification in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC systems, or a related field
- Extensive, broad experience in HVAC engineering and operations, particularly on offshore facilities
- Strong expertise in HVAC system design, construction, operations, maintenance, condition assessment, and life extension
- Proven experience in HVAC condition assessments, brownfield modifications, and life extension strategy development
- Familiarity with international HVAC standards and offshore safety regulations
- Previous experience in the Middle East
- Excellent work management, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage interfaces and relationships between diverse project stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills, with full proficiency in English (written and spoken)
