WHO WE ARE

We enable financial markets organisations to innovate at speed through a software application development platform, prepackaged solutions and deep expertise in capital markets and financial services. In supercharging developers to rapidly deliver high-performance, resilient and secure applications, Genesis replaces the buy vs. build challenge with a buy-to-build solution. The Genesis platform is designed with flexibility and performance at its core, providing developers with the frameworks, integrations and components required to automate manual workflows, enhance legacy systems and build entirely new applications. Featuring a resilient, real-time service-oriented architecture, Genesis excels across the performance envelope of low-latency, high-throughput and high-scalability, powering mission-critical applications at the world's leading financial institutions.

WHY THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY

  • Kick-start your tech career in a role that gives you hands-on experience across software development, problem-solving, and customer interaction.
  • Full training and mentoring from experienced consultants — you don't need prior implementation experience, just curiosity and drive.
  • You'll be working with a modern platform used by global clients, giving you exposure to real-world technical challenges and enterprise-level solutions.
  • A supportive team that invests in your development, with clear progression into more senior implementation, product, or technical specialisms.
  • The chance to see the direct impact of your work: your configurations help customers go live successfully and get real value from the product.
  • A role where no two days look the same — you'll constantly be learning, improving, and experimenting with new ideas and tools.
  • We're an in-person team (four days a week) based in the heart of the City (EC3A), giving you great access to colleagues, clients, and everything the area has to offer.
  • A salary of £25,000 per annum, plus annual bonus plan, 25 days annual leave, Aviva healthcare, equity options, training and well-being allowances.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Getting hands-on with our platform and tech stack to configure, customise and deliver high-quality solutions for clients.
  • Designing, coding and shipping new functionality using Java, Kotlin and TypeScript — developing features end-to-end from logic and workflows through to testing and production deployment.
  • Working directly with users to understand their needs and translate conversations into clear, actionable technical requirements.
  • Investigating issues, debugging complex problems and collaborating with your team to create elegant, scalable solutions.
  • Contributing across the full software delivery lifecycle — from requirements and architecture design through to development, deployment and supporting successful go-lives.
  • Creating rapid proof-of-concept builds that showcase what's possible, explore new ideas and help clients shape their direction.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Recent graduate in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Maths or another technical discipline.
  • We don't expect you to be a developer, but some coding experience will help you hit the ground running.
  • The ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences, turning ideas into solutions and explaining technical points simply.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
  • Organised, proactive and comfortable managing your own workload.
  • Curiosity, adaptability and a genuine interest in technology.
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile when needed.
