One of our clients based in Leicester is looking for an experienced automotive Bodyshop Mechanic MET Technician for our accident repair centre.

Duties will include:

  • Replacing suspension parts and wheel alignments
  • Striping and refitting of vehicles
  • Handling air conditioning refrigerants
  • Vehicle diagnostics

In order to be considered you must:

  • Have a full UK driving licence
  • Have current or very recent Bodyshop experience as a Mechanic / MET Technician
  • Be motivated
  • Have attention to detail & quality repairs
  • VCQ level 3 or ATA qualification is an advantage but not essential.

The Technician will be responsible for ensuring all their work is carried out to Manufacturers and Thatcham standards. You must ensure the work carried out follows the job card and liaise with the estimators if extra damage is found. The applicant should be able to work under their own initiative and be able to work alongside the other members of the team.
