Genesis is looking for a career driven Procurement Assistant to join one of our clients based in CV8 Kenilworth. The client is a leading provider of mobile technical services and facilities management solutions based in Warwickshire and serving clients across the UK. They are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Procurement Assistant to join their growing team. The Procurement Assistant will support the organisation's purchasing and supply chain operations by sourcing goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and resolve quantity or delivery issues.
- Raising of purchase orders in line with business demands.
- Work within a team to ensure accurate material quotes.
- Ensure the best prices are available and used in tender build-ups.
- Tracking and recording of all orders.
- Monitor and manage supplier relationships/database.
- Support the Procurement and Warehouse manager with stock control in both the office and engineers' vans.
- Daily reporting on departmental KPIs.
- Cross departmental collaboration, working closely with operations, finance, and the commercial team to ascertain and understand the purchasing needs.
