Designing mechanical components as part of new product development using Solidworks (e.g. component layouts, product casings).

Liaising with suppliers to facilitate the manufacture of designed parts.

Producing manufacturing drawings and wiring diagrams.

Producing support documentation (e.g. datasheets, user manuals, build manuals).

Liaising with test houses for product safety assessments.

Follow established safety procedures.

Adhere to relevant company quality, certification and compliance standards.

Be aware of company responsibilities with regard to ATEX, UKEX, IECEx, CSA certifications and subsequent duty of care to customers when using the company s products.

The R&D team for coordination of product development.

The role reports to the Technical Director., * Full time (less experienced engineers) or part time (more experienced engineers).

Flexible hours option (most hours in core working day 8:00 until 16:30, but possible to work earlier, later, or weekends if desired).

Working from home option (minimum one day per week in the office).

25 days holiday per anum (full time equivalent). Every 3 years gain an extra day up to 28 days maximum.
