We’re looking for a Data Analyst (BI & Automation) to join our IT team and take ownership of our internal Business Intelligence and automation capability. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful insights, improving business processes, and building scalable reporting solutions in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Working closely with teams across the business, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining our Power BI reporting estate, supporting Power Automate workflows, and helping ensure our data is accurate, secure, and actionable. Reporting into the VP Technology, this role plays a key part in supporting operational and commercial decision‑making across our global portfolio.

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

  • Own and develop the organisation’s Power BI platform, reporting catalogue, and dashboards, ensuring solutions are accurate, secure, and user-friendly.
  • Design and maintain Power BI data models, datasets, DAX measures, and KPI frameworks to provide trusted business insights and reporting.
  • Deliver meaningful hotel performance analytics, including occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, bookings, cancellations, and revenue trends.
  • Build and support Power Automate workflows to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable BI, reporting, and automation solutions.
  • Manage BI services within Azure, including deployments, monitoring, access control, and platform performance.
  • Monitor data quality, reporting reliability, and system integrations, implementing controls, alerts, and continuous improvements.
  • Support API‑based integrations and automated data flows between systems, ensuring accuracy, security, and effective issue resolution.
  • Promote BI governance and best practice through documentation, user training, reporting standards, and self‑service enablement.
  • Provide actionable insights, stakeholder updates, and technical guidance while working effectively in a fast‑paced, business‑critical environment.

  • Advanced analytical skills with a proactive and solutions‑focused mindset.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, accuracy, and information security best practice.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets, integrations, and business‑critical reporting environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing deadlines.
