Generator Power is the UK's largest independent generator company, with over 25 years' experience in the industry and 11 depots across the UK, including Trackway Solutions, providing national coverage. We supply and install generators across a wide range of industries including hospitals, construction, festivals, renewable energy, telecoms, and utilities.
We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with ADR to join our team at our Inverness depot on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern.
Shift Pattern: M - F 8am - 5pm, 40 hour week
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Load and unload vehicles
- Operate a forklift truck
- Deliver and collect generators and ancillary equipment to/from sites across multiple industries
- Assist engineers on site when required
- Refuel generators on site and within the depot
- Installation and dismantling of generators on customer sites
- Carry out general housekeeping to maintain clean and safe work areas
- Complete all company paperwork in line with procedures
- Safeguard all company assets; no equipment leaves the depot without correct documentation
Qualifications / Skills Required:
- Class 2 HGV licence (Class 1 desirable)
- Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
- ADR Class 3 tanks and core packages & Class 9 Miscellaneous
- Forklift Truck Licence desirable (training can be provided)
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Knowledge of lifting operations and equipment
