OPERATIONS ASSISTANT – LONDON HEAD OFFICE

We have a very exciting opportunity within our Operations Department to support our Operations Management Team based at our Head Office in Central London.

  • NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB
  • Assist with all procurement activities to ensure a cost‑effective purchasing model within all of our properties
  • Report regularly to understand goods requirements and allow more effective future purchasing
  • Develop relationships with various suppliers and endeavour to establish global deals beneficial for all of our hostels
  • Calculate and report on the monthly savings from cost effective purchasing across the group
  • Work with hostel management teams to improve the purchasing process to help reduce waste and improve profitability
  • Be involved in the tender processes for new products
  • Aid with the creation of our group Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) – collect data, compile data, write SOP and get it approved
  • Work with hostel management teams on the implementation of SOPs
  • Provide assistance to the Operations Management Team with any on‑going projects
  • Provide administrative support to the operations team and assist with the preparation of reports and presentation materials for distribution to the Executive Team
  • Ensure that all project plans and documentation are maintained and distributed as required
  • Search for new trends in Food & Beverage, New Technologies or any other Hospitality concepts
