The Opportunity
Are you a recent graduate looking for a varied, hands‑on role where you can gain real experience at a senior level within a dynamic property business? Generator Group is a SME property development and strategic land company, delivering residential and mixed‑use projects across southern England. We are looking for a motivated and organised graduate to join our Chelmsford office on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis, providing executive and project support to our Managing Director and Group Development Director.
This is a genuinely broad role, not just diary management and admin. You will be involved in the day‑to‑day running of a busy property business, supporting live development projects, liaising with external consultants and agents, and helping to keep the business operating smoothly and efficiently.
What You Will Be Doing
- Providing day‑to‑day executive and administrative support to the MD and Group Development Director
- Diary management, scheduling, meeting preparation and minute‑taking
- Preparing and formatting documents, reports and presentations to a high standard
- Supporting project coordination across active development sites, including acquisition, planning and delivery stages
- Liaising with external consultants, agents, solicitors, contractors and other stakeholders
- Assisting with research tasks including market research, site analysis and opportunity identification
- Monitoring and organising project documentation and administrative workflows
- Helping to manage purchaser and agent queries and supporting sales and occupier matters
- Contributing to the integration of AI tools into the business to drive efficiencies
What We Are Looking For
- A degree (or equivalent) in any discipline at 2:2 or above
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and confident manner
- An interest in property, business and how things get done
- A proactive, can‑do attitude and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and external professionals
- An interest in AI and its application in the workplace
