Generative Engineering brings AI design into the real world by enabling generative engineering design for physical products. Our focus is on creating millions more engineers globally and giving them the data and knowledge necessary to make efficient decisions quickly, one of the main challenges of the physical engineering industry today.
Our team has a background in scaling software to millions of users and successfully disrupting industries, creating Unicorns and Decacorns along the way. We combine the advantages of an early-stage start-up with the ability to focus on creating high-quality, high-impact systems, without the distraction of fundraising.
We are looking for a Product Marketer to join the team, one who understands the reality of pace and ability needed to build genuine products that scale. Please show success in your past positions. If you are a Product person, yet you spend a year or 2 working on each product you’ve built, that has then failed, you’ll need to completely change your ways with us.
Key responsibilities:
- Market Messaging: Develop, test and refine product messaging that resonates with our target market segments. Initially focusing on innovators, then later early adopters and early majority.
- Market Research: Conduct research to understand customer purchasing behavior, complementary products, and pricing models. Taking a data-driven approach.
- Content Creation: Write compelling blog posts, website content, and other marketing collateral to drive awareness and engagement among engineering audiences, ensuring we can measure how well this content works.
- Early User Advocacy: Identify and cultivate relationships with early users (“generative champions”) to generate enthusiasm, validate product messaging and gather insights that complement user research.
- Community Building: Support the early stages of a community for our product, setting up and managing channels like Discord or Slack to collect feedback and foster engagement.
- Social Presence: Managing our social media content and account.
What we’re looking for:
- We do not care how many years of experience you have, some of the best people are just starting out. Please just show your success, or your potential for it, when applying.
- Entrepreneurial: Thrives as the first marketer, capable of building strategies from scratch, and will do what it takes to reach the right people.
- Storyteller: Skilled in creating narratives that resonate with technical audiences.
- Experimental: Someone who can run marketing/product experiments to see what works.
- Product Minded: You represent the market to the product, and drive all marketing activities towards building a transformational product in a challenging industry.
- Adaptable: As a startup we need someone who thrives in a changing environment, someone who doesn’t stick to one process and who can help out wherever needed.
Just state the word 'Salmon' anywhere in your application, just to prove you can read a job advert.
We aim to improve all our colleagues' abilities and careers by exposing them to the bare bones of a tech start-up whilst giving them the opportunity to support the company in any way. If our people continuously improve, so does our product.
