Generation People is currently hiring for and working with several well-established companies based in Chesterfield, and due to this we are looking for a number of General operators and assemblers for various clients in and around Chesterfield.

We are looking for someone who can work in a sometimes fast-paced environment and can produce a high standard of work, as our clients work in various sectors.

Daily Duties for General Operatives include:

  • Assembly of products to bespoke designs and client specifications.
  • Working on the bench and/or operating various machinery.
  • Quality checking own work.
  • Operating various hand tools.
  • Assisting with packing and despatch of completed products ready for delivery.
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures.
  • Maintaining a clean workstation.
