Location: Chesterfield Starting Salary: £13.25p/h Hours: Shifts, Days (Full time – Monday to Friday) Contract: 12 weeks temp to perm position Reporting to: Operations Manager Generation People is currently hiring for a Bench Operative to join a manufacturing company based in the Chesterfield area. This role is suited to someone who has passion and commitment to produce high quality wooden products with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Key Duties as the bench operative: * Produce high quality, accurate and timely work to meet client demands and tight deadlines. * Assembly work * Use of hand tools and power tools * Proactive team player and committed to continuous improvement. * Manual handling and transportation of products around the warehouse Candidate Skills & Requirements: * FLT Counterbalance licence – advantageous * Minimum 1 years’ experience in joinery or bench assembly – advantageous * Assembly experience * Use of hand tools and power tools * Experience of working with and around wooden products * Reliable and punctual * Great attention to detail
