Generation People is currently hiring for a Paint Sprayer to join our client based in the Chesterfield area on a permanent contract. Our client is a leader in surface treatments, providing innovative solutions to clients across aerospace, defence, oil & gas, and automotive sectors. Their commitment to quality and precision drives them to deliver superior corrosion protection and surface hardness enhancements.
Summary of the role: To spray paint material & units in accordance with the Company’s standards. The task demands a right first-time manner to maintain the Company’s high-quality within a fast-moving production environment. The role will involve the use of air assisted air less paint spraying systems.
Key Duties as the Paint Sprayer:
- Setting up painting equipment
- Sanding down and preparing the parts for spraying
- Selecting, matching and mixing paints
- Applying primer coats, main coats and finishes
- Carrying out quality checks
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment
Candidate Skills & Requirements:
- Required viscosity of different spray methods
- Surface preparation ready for spraying
- Fault recognition
- Needs to have a keen eye for detail and high standard of work
- Proven experience in a similar role
