Generation People is currently hiring for and working with several well-established companies based in Chesterfield, and due to this we are looking for a number of General Operatives and assemblers for various clients in and around Chesterfield.
We are looking for someone who can work in a sometimes fast-paced environment and can produce a high standard of work, as our clients work in various sectors.
Daily Duties for General Operatives include:
- Assembly of products to bespoke designs and client specifications.
- Working on the bench and/or operating various machinery.
- Quality checking own work.
- Operating various hand tools.
- Assisting with packing and despatch of completed products ready for delivery.
- Adhering to health and safety procedures.
- Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor.
- Any other associated duties within this role.
Candidate Requirements:
- Conscientious and hard working.
- Experience in assembly, manufacturing or production work would be advantageous.
- Must have good hand-eye coordination & attention to detail.
- Team Player and able to work on own initiative.
