We are looking for an Account Executive to strengthen our Commercial team in the UK. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the Global Client Leader in maintaining, developing and expanding the relationship with the existing clients in order to ensure long-term sustainable growth and profitability. They will also support Business Development Managers in their activities when required, e.g. preparation of RFP response.
Main responsibilities (non-exhaustive list):
- Responsible for handling a portfolio of clients day-to-day, supporting the entire lifecycle of the client relationship from RFP to renewal.
- Cultivate and manage the client relationship at multiple levels with the aim of delivering best in class experience, e.g. providing detailed product information, responding to all client inquiries, proactively addressing their issues.
- Support a qualitative delivery and analysis of the consolidated program reports, working with technical staff and product specialists where required to address client expectations.
- Responsible for value delivery to client including preparation of meetings, renewals, quotations and other commercial activities.
- Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge base of main GEB features and products with the aim of supporting upselling.
- Liaise and cultivate strong interactions with local insurers, brokers, consultants in relation to clients, recognizing the value they bring to our clients.
- Build strong relationships with clients, internal departments and external stakeholders in order to achieve sales goals.
- Illustrate to third parties local and international quotations.
- Attend meetings with clients, prospects, brokers and consultants as required.
- Be involved in specific cross-department and cross-Regional Offices projects.
- Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity.

Desirable skills & competencies and background:
- Willingness to work with tight deadlines in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to work on and switch from several tasks / clients / projects at the same time / in the same day.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships with several correspondents within the network, the clients’ and the intermediaries’ organizations.
- Literacy in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and possibly other common computer programs.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role would be an asset.
- Knowledge of employee benefits and previous experience in an international environment is a plus.
- Fluent in English, any other language would be considered an asset (especially Italian and/or French and/or German).
