We currently have a full-time position available for a qualified MOT tester / Vehicle mechanic in our well-established independent garage based in Amesbury.
The Role is to carry out Class 4 MOT's and all types of vehicle repairs including diagnostics.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Hold a current MOT tester licence (essential) with qualifications that are up to date.
- NVQ level 3 qualified (or equivalent) in car & light commercial vehicle repair with a minimum of 4 years experience.
- Experience in vehicle servicing, replacing cambelts, replacing clutches, vehicle repairs, and inspections, tyre fitting etc on all makes and models of cars.
- Experience in using diagnostic equipment & fault finding.
- Full UK Driving Licence (required).
We are looking for someone who can work as a team as well as on their own. Must be reliable, capable of working to set time frames and have good attention to detail.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:15 am to 5:45 pm. Excellent rates of pay for the right applicant. 28 days Holiday and pension scheme.
