Since the first branch of General Traffic opened in 1983, our family business has grown to be one of the largest distributors of Vehicle Parts and Tyres in the North and Midlands. We operate from 43 branches across the North and Midlands. We have two distribution Hubs receiving deliveries direct from the manufacturers continually replenishing our branch stocks.
We stock an extensive range of premium quality car parts for all makes and models – supplied by original equipment manufacturers including Jurid, Duckhams, Purflux, Gates, NGK, Bosch, LUK and Hankook Tyres… We operate a fleet of over 400 delivery vans providing a delivery within the hour to our trade customers.
We are recruiting a Parts Advisor to join our team at our Wigan branch. They\’ll handle a large volume of phone and counter orders from our trade customers and correctly identify the vehicle parts they require.
Candidates must have experience within the motor trade, a familiarity with computers and have excellent customer service and communication skills.
They will source and supply car parts in an efficient and timely manner utilising all available technology and technical information. Ensuring we get it right first time, every time.
They will build rapport with our customers, strengthening relationships and encouraging new business.
This is a permanent, full time position hours a week with an attractive salary and bonuses.
Monday – Friday 08:30 – 5:30 and alternate Saturday mornings 08:30 -1:00
