Tritech International is seeking an experienced Quality Systems Manager to take ownership of our ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System and drive process improvement across our growing international technology business. This is a standalone role offering significant autonomy and influence, with responsibility for maintaining and developing business processes ensuring compliance, supporting operational excellence and embedding a culture of quality throughout the organisation.
Reporting to the Executive Vice President and working closely with the Leadership Team and departmental managers, you will play a key role in ensuring our management systems remain effective, compliant and aligned with business objectives as we continue to grow.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Quality Systems Manager, Quality Manager, Compliance Manager or Lead Internal Auditor seeking a flexible role within a successful engineering and technology company.
You will be responsible for maintaining and continually improving the company's ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System, ensuring that business processes are documented, controlled, audited and continuously enhanced. The role is internally focused, working collaboratively across Engineering, Operations, Sales and Finance while acting as the primary point of contact for external certification bodies and auditors.

Key Responsibilities
- Own, maintain and continuously improve the company's ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System.
- Lead staff engagement and training in the Quality Management System.
- Ensure procedures, records and processes are documented, controlled and communicated effectively.
- Maintain the company QMS software system to support operational effectiveness, compliance and business performance.
- Ensure quality systems remain aligned with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Plan, manage and conduct internal audits in accordance with the audit schedule.
- Track, monitor and drive closure of corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead preparation for external surveillance and recertification audits.
- Act as the primary point of contact for certification bodies and third-party auditors.
- Support process owners across all departments to improve process consistency, effectiveness and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for business process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action activities where required.
- Promote best practice and standardisation across business functions.
- Drive a culture of process improvement throughout the organisation.
- Coordinate Management Review meetings and maintain associated records.
- Monitor and report key quality performance indicators.
- Produce reports and recommendations to support leadership decision-making.
- Maintain effective document control and quality records management.
About You
- Proven experience managing an ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Experience planning and conducting internal audits.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 requirements and quality management principles.
- Experience managing corrective and preventive action processes.
- Experience managing QMS software packages.
- Excellent documentation, organisational and process management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capability.
- Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing or technology environments.
- Experience supporting organisational change and business improvement initiatives.
- Experience working within a regulated or technical product environment.
- ISO 14001 experience.

Location & Eligibility
This role is based in Ulverston, Cumbria. This is primarily an onsite position. Candidates should reside within reasonable commuting distance of Ulverston.
