We are seeking experienced Pharmacists to join the team in NHS Western Isles.
Roles available:
- Band 8a Clinical Pharmacists (Primary care)
- Ward based Band 7 Clinical Pharmacists
- Front Door Band 7 Clinical Pharmacists (This post will cover patients within the Hospital at Home virtual ward as well as providing support for the Urgent Care and Acute Assessment teams).
About the roles:
Here, you would be working as a key member of the pharmacy team to provide a safe and effective clinical pharmacy service to the Western Isles NHS Board to the agreed standard of pharmaceutical care for a defined patient population and within limits of responsibility, resources and activity.
Essential requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years work experience
- Valid UK driving licence
- GPhC registration
About Western Isles Hospital:
WIH is a rural general hospital serving approximately 26,500 people (the Outer Hebrides population). It is a modern and well-equipped hospital with approximately 90 beds covering General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopaedics and Trauma, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Acute Psychiatry Rehabilitation.
