Specialist Applications Associate
We are currently looking for individuals with Cardiology, Neurology, Geriatrics, and Paediatric sub‑specialties. £325 per evaluation + £325 for training & induction days.
This role allows practising consultants within these specialties to conduct Portfolio (formerly CESR) evaluations as a GMC Specialist Applications Associate. You will assess the portfolio of evidence, write a report, and recommend whether the applicant should be entered onto the specialist register. You must be on the specialist register and have patient contact in the last two years. A good analytical mind is essential.
Responsibilities
- Assess the applicant’s portfolio of evidence to demonstrate CCT curriculum outcomes in your specialty.
- Write a comprehensive report with a recommendation of entry onto the specialist register.
- Complete a minimum of five evaluations per year and attend one training day.
- Work primarily from home, with occasional attendance at London or Manchester offices.
Qualifications
- Consultant within Cardiology, Neurology, Geriatrics, or Paediatric sub‑specialties.
- Fully registered, current licence to practice, and specialist registration.
- Patient contact within the last two years.
