Overview

Are you an experienced facilitator or trainer with experience of coaching and training adults? If so, you could help to improve patient care in your area by delivering training to medical professionals, patient groups, educators and students about all aspects of ethical practice. You\\\'ll have experience of communicating with a diverse range of audiences both face to face and virtually, and we\\\'ll provide you with all the training you need about the health sector to be successful in this role.

We work with doctors, physician associates, anaesthesia associates, patients, and other stakeholders to support good, safe patient care across the UK. We set the standards doctors and those who train them need to meet and help them achieve them. If there are concerns these standards may not be met or that public confidence in doctors may be at risk, we can investigate, and take action if needed.

The role covers South West of England, working in medical environments such as hospitals as well as delivering training remotely from home in Dorset, Devon or Cornwall. You will travel throughout your region, running workshops and holding meetings in hospitals and medical schools with registrants, students and patients.

Not only will you gather intelligence and information about local issues and concerns to inform our policies, operations, risk management and customer service, but you\\\'ll also deliver training and facilitate consultations and group discussions about their role in building supportive working cultures, applying our ethical guidance to day-to-day practice, revalidation and medical standards in education and professional practice. Responsibilities

  • Travel across the South West of England to deliver training in medical environments such as hospitals and medical schools, and deliver remote training from home as needed.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Experience as a facilitator or trainer with coaching and training adults.
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse range of audiences face to face and virtually.
  • Capability to work independently as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to consult with partners at a senior level.
  • Strong engagement and facilitation skills, with credibility to deliver targeted improvement interventions.
  • Experience delivering training and presentations that clearly communicate complex information, and the confidence to handle challenging audiences.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage time effectively.
