Responsibilities

  • Prioritise applications and meet deadlines to keep within the agreed key performance indicators and service level agreements
  • Take responsibility for more complex enquiries from time to time, including those from external stakeholders
  • To prepare appropriate and timely responses to doctors, stakeholders and third parties by phone and produce written correspondence
  • To support internal partners within the GMC with their queries and processes

Administrative experience with a keen eye for detail and good prioritisation skills. A confident communicator who can build strong relationships with people, you should also be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.

The General Medical Council (GMC) currently have 3 permanent positions available as an Adviser. You will enjoy plenty of variety in working with doctors and health professionals. You will provide high quality administrative support to the teams for processing applications in-line with GMC procedures. We currently have positions available across the teams below.
