General Intelligence Holdings acquires established professional-services firms and rebuilds them with AI from the inside. Our first platform, Ledger, buys UK accountancy practices from retiring owners on terms private equity won't offer: keep your name, keep your team, keep meaningful equity. The model is proven at scale in the US — Thrive Holdings and the General Catalyst Creation portfolio — and we are building its next iterations. The AI platform exists, the origination engine is live, and the founder has built and exited twice. What the business needs now is the operator beside him.

This company is designed around a technologist–operator pair. The founder builds the AI platform and the product. You run acquisition and integration: sourcing and closing the deals, then owning the first 100 days of every acquired firm. Client retention through transition. Staff continuity. Migration onto our operating stack. The integration playbook, and eventually the team that runs it. You are not an advisor to this process; you are accountable for it, deal after deal. As the platform compounds, you'll have run more AI‑era integrations than anyone in the market — because you'll have written the method.

You have personally integrated acquired businesses — plural — and can walk us through what you owned post‑close: the systems cutover, the staff decisions, the clients you kept and the ones you lost and why. You likely come from a serial acquirer or consolidator (software, insurance brokerage, accountancy, IT or business services), a buy‑and‑build operating role in private equity, or you've run a roll‑up yourself. Deal execution skills matter; integration scars matter more. You have firm opinions about what the consolidation wave got wrong, and you can hold the room with a 64‑year‑old selling founder in the morning and an AI engineer in the afternoon.

Founding‑team equity — this seat sits at the centre of the business and the ownership reflects it. Market cash compensation from close of our current round, with a paid advisory engagement available before close for the right person. Incentives are tied to what integration is actually for: client and revenue retention twelve months post‑close, not deal count.

One conversation with the founder, then a working session on a live target. Confidential approaches welcome, including from inside a consolidator.
