General Dynamics Land Systems is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our PMO Team, based in Merthyr, South Wales. The successful candidate will earn a salary of £57,600 to £72,000, depending on experience and potential. This role is ideal for someone with a proactive and positive mindset, eager to grow professionally.
Based at our Merthyr facility, you will coordinate with various stakeholders to manage the EAC, risks, and project schedule. You will provide updates on the programme and report on EAC variances. You will actively ensure adherence to the Joint Integrated Programme Schedule and escalate risks and issues to the Programme Manager.
Weekly Responsibilities:
- Manage the Earn Value Management (EVM) for the ITEA project and provide monthly performance updates to the PMO.
- Oversee and be responsible for the EAC on the programme.
- Lead weekly and monthly programme EAC reviews and support senior-level reviews with the Senior Programme Manager.
Qualifications:
- Practical understanding and experience of project lifecycles and delivery.
- Experience in project management within product development and manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management for project control.
- Understanding of Risk Management practices.
