These systems provide the functionality that integrates aircraft, sensor and stores management systems with the information and control systems required by the aircrew to meet demanding operational needs.
An exciting opportunity to join General Dynamics, a leading-edge defence company, as a Senior Electronics Engineer. This position allows you to play an important role in our innovative Test Development team, working on avionics and possibly on land-based armoured vehicle communication systems. In this role you will:
- Provide test solutions for highly technical electronic circuits and units
- Undertake test strategies and develop test solutions to ensure our products meet all quality requirements and safe functionality within aircraft
- Play a major part in technical investigations, requiring comprehensive knowledge of electronic hardware and software
Working alongside highly skilled engineers, you will find your hardware/software knowledge continually expanding, leading to opportunities for future development and progression.
Qualifications
- Minimum of HNC level education or equivalent
- Proven range of relevant experience
- Experience working with or familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred
Additional Information
This role has a salary of between £45,600 and £57,000 plus a flexible benefits package.
