You will have a wide-ranging role that interfaces with a number of key project stakeholders across the business, primarily with Project Managers and Cost Account Managers. The principal purpose of the role is to:
- Support assigned Project Manager(s) to promote good planning practice and ensure scope, schedule and budget adherence.
- Monitor reports, flag concerns, exceptions and issues through recognised escalation routes along with proposed solutions.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Management or a related field.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply as are those with some initial project control experience.
- A foundational understanding of project management principles and practices.
- A willingness to learn and grow in the role is essential.
- Good IT skills are essential for the position. MS Project experience would be beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing project needs and provide high-quality support across various tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong time-management skills with a proven track record of delivering work on schedule and meeting project deadlines.
- A proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and the initiative to propose and implement enhancements to project processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project stakeholders at all levels.
Additional Information
- This role has a salary between £28,000 and £33,000, depending on experience, plus a flexible benefits package.
- We are open to a hybrid model – typically three days working in the office each week – or fully in the office.
- A compressed nine-day fortnight and compressed hours, which means every other Friday off.
