General Dynamics Land Systems is on the look-out for a full-time Joint Acceptance Group Manager to join our established Team. The successful and inclusive candidate will earn a favourable salary of £63,100 to £78,840 based on experience and potential. This is an ideal role for someone who has a proactive and positive mindset and a keen desire to grow professionally. Joining an established team based at our Merthyr (South Wales) facility, you will work across a range of stakeholders, responsible for the planning and execution of the Joint Acceptance Group activity for General Dynamics vehicles following handover from vehicle build completion and shakedown in order to support delivery of compliant vehicles to the UK MoD.
Highlights
- Ensure accurate incident capture and migration into the centralised DRACAS toolset for business wide analysis and long term corrective action.
- Responsible for the planning and execution of the Joint GDLSUK / MoD acceptance testing process for the GDLSUK portfolio of vehicles.
- Responsible for the chairing of zero gate reviews prior to JAG entry to assure readiness for the respective vehicle to enter the next phase of activity.
- Development and baselining of reference test scripts and process documentation to allow consistent, repeatable test execution in a controlled manner.
- Support Handover Readiness Reviews and provision of requisite information for End Item Data Pack compilation.
- Liaison with commissioning, shakedown, de-snag and POD management personnel to support timely delivery of vehicles in accordance with schedule.
Requirements
- A proven track record of complex vehicle manufacturing and delivery programmes.
- Experience of supply chain processes to meet the delivery demands of complex programmes.
- Experience of military vehicle systems.
- Ability to liaise with, and present information to, multi-disciplined and multi-national team members.
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written skills.
- Hold or be capable of holding security clearance up to the level of SECRET.
- Good team working abilities.
- Ability to communicate at senior levels.
