The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This position is for an experienced Validation / Verification Monitor who will lead a team of Val/Ver Monitors to develop, perform and conduct Validation/Verification of Technical Manuals to support Abrams, Stryker, MPF and/or S-MET programs. This position will also be responsible for the technical interface with external and internal customers.
Additional duties for this position will include:
- Conducting EVMS activities
- Completing ROM/BOEs
- Updating internal processes (when needed)
- Completing/status updates for CDRL deliveries
- Maintaining shop activities/updates when required
Must be able to organize and conduct Validation/Verification of Operator, Maintenance and Troubleshooting Technical Publications for tracked and wheeled vehicles and ancillary equipment to ensure technical accuracy/usability. Will perform troubleshooting, maintenance and software downloading on Abrams, Stryker and MPF series vehicles. Perform diagnostics and systems troubleshooting of Abrams, Stryker, and MPF vehicles, components and assemblies.
Support Government Verifications and Logistics Demonstrations / Maintenance Assessments on tracked and wheeled vehicle technical publications at GDLS and Government facilities. Serve as liaison between GDLS and Government representatives to resolve technical/administrative issues identified during Validation/Verification and Logistics Demonstration programs.
Analyze Engineering drawings, electrical schematics and specifications to identify hardware configuration requirements and diagnose vehicle system faults. Must be able to use Microsoft Office products to develop/maintain departmental forms and records in accordance with ISO standards.
